Tom Williams is the principal of InnovationConsult, who specialise in helping business owners make the often difficult leap from StartUps to ScaleUps, so they can enjoy more growth with less stress.

Tom Williams originally trained as a scientist and over a long and diverse career has brought that kind of disciplined thinking to add to his creativity, as an entrepreneur, innovator and coach.

Tom developed video marketing for the pharmaceutical industry, created the first mathematical model of the Australian stock market, conceived the world’s first Business Class for Qantas and pioneered training for biomed researchers to teach them how to commercialise their inventions.

Tom has founded or co-founded 5 businesses, with exits including selling an investment management company to HSBC and taking a biotech from startup to an IPO on the ASX.

Now he focuses on helping business owners who are on a mission, to make a difference, make a fortune and make it fun.  He is writing a book about his experiences, reflecting on the entrepreneur’s journey from inspiration to impact.
