Anne Hindley is the founder and principal architect of Hindley & Co, an architecture and interior design studio based in Melbourne.
Hindley & Co specialises in luxury residential renovations, new builds, and wellness sanctuaries. They create sculpturally inspired and quietly exceptional houses—crafted to elevate the way people live, feel, and connect at home.

Anne and her team believe that great architecture can reduce stress, increase pleasure, and deepen connection—with ourselves, with other people, and with nature. Anne holds a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Philosophy and a Bachelor of Architecture (Honours). Her path into architecture was shaped by a fascination with beauty, simplicity, and how physical space can influence our inner lives. Prior to founding Hindley & Co, she lived and worked in New York, London, Singapore, and France, experiences that expanded her perspective and continue to inform her globally attuned but locally grounded design sensibility. She also speaks French.

Her design philosophy is further influenced by her studies in Transcendental Meditation and spinal energetics—a unique lens through which she explores how homes can nurture wellbeing, presence, and peace. Anne leads her studio with both vision and care, creating work that is emotionally resonant and experientially rich.
