Jonathan established Art & Commerce after working in a national law firm and several boutique practices. After developing an affinity with a cohort of loyal repeat clients who are commercial, innovative and entrepreneurial, he decided to open his own firm. He also acts as an out-sourced general counsel for several clients.
Jonathan holds a bachelor of laws, bachelor of business (international trade & economics) and a graduate diploma in legal practice. He is admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of Victoria and High Court of Australia. In addition to being a lawyer, Jonathan is a registered trade marks attorney in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Jonathan was a Marketing Director at Sony Music, a business owner in the entertainment industry and a government policy adviser.
