Balwyn

Balwyn

Balwyn is consistently ranked as one of Melbourne’s most desirable suburbs and The Age even called it ‘Melbourne’s most loved’. It’s not hard to see why – Balwyn has everything you’d want from a suburb. Sitting within the City of Boroondara, it’s a leafy, quiet area with family homes on large blocks – but just a 30 minute tram ride from Melbourne CBD.

Balwyn has a highly stable population of around 21,000, which is neither significantly growing nor declining. It’s an older, and affluent suburb – the median age is 43, compared to 37 in Greater Melbourne and average mortgage and rental payments are higher than average too. People here are well educated, with 49% having a tertiary education (compared to 33% for Melbourne) and the largest employment sector after health and social assistance is professional, technical and scientific.

That makes it a great place to do business and the natural home of a Fresh Networking hub.

Fresh Networking is the place for business owners and leaders to meet with like-minded people, to create connections and ‘know, like and trust’ relationships. We don’t believe in referral targets – our members naturally want to help each other.

We’re part of the Fresh Networking community, which numbers over 280 members and 9,500 attendees a year across Melbourne – when you join us in Balwyn, you’re joining the whole community.

If you’re a business owner or leader who values the power of networking as a marketing strategy and wants to join a networking group that is Fresh, vibrant and fun, come along to a meeting and check us out. You’ll be sure of a very warm welcome. We’re looking forward to meeting you.
