Ackie’s the name, branding’s the game!
Yes, thats really my name – short for Acland. Ask me about it.. it’s usually the best conversation starter i’ve got. 

I’m the founder of GAS LAB Creative Studio, where I help SME’s build brands that genuinely reflect the quality of what they do – not a “I just need a logo for business cards”. Design has been a love of mine since right back in middle school, up until receiving my Diploma of Graphic Designer (at Swinburne) in 2016. From there, I worked my up through the industry – agency roles, in-house, remote, you name it – eventually landing as Head of Visual Communications at SKDA Moto Creative. GAS LAB was born in 2019, a side-hustle alongside my full time employement up until December of 2025 when I decided to give it my full attention. 

Here’s the part most people don’t really expect: my background is heavily rooted in motorsport, specifically two-wheeled racing. Growing up racing motocross gave me a front-row seat to an industry most designers never get to experience – and it’s led to working with the likes of Albek Co., Pipes Motorsport Group (USA), MWMX, OnPoint Suspension, among others. I’m not here as a motorsports designer though – i’m a branding expert who brings that unique edge into every brand I build. It’s the kind of level that seperates GAS LAB from your run-of-the-mill design agency.
