Sonya (Georgievski) Comninos is the Founder and Principal of EOX Business Partners.
She works with boards, CEOs and leadership teams to identify and address systemic issues that quietly undermine performance, trust and psychological safety — often long before they become visible.
With more than 30 years’ experience across banking, financial services and complex operational environments, Sonya brings deep insight into how leadership systems, governance structures and organisational dynamics shape outcomes over time. She is recognised for her ability to identify patterns in behaviour, power and decision-making that create risk, conflict and cultural breakdown, and to support leaders in redesigning the conditions that drive performance and accountability.
Sonya’s work focuses on building leadership capability that is ethical, accountable and sustainable — not as an aspiration, but as a system responsibility. She integrates governance insight, executive advisory and leadership development with a strong ethics and accountability lens.
Alongside her leadership and advisory work, Sonya founded Voices for Respect, an initiative addressing psychological harm, systemic bullying and ethical failure in workplaces. This reflects her belief that strong performance and human dignity are not in tension when integrity is designed into leadership and decision-making systems.
She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Melbourne, is a Certified Project Manager through the Australian Institute of Project Managers, and holds a Certificate IV in Personal and Business Coaching. She is an Advisory Board Member with Business Women Australia, and a mentor with Melbourne Business School and Glen Eira City Council.
Sonya is known for her thoughtful, candid and principled approach, combining strategic clarity with deep respect for organisational and human complexity.
