Sydney’s Northern Beaches area stretches from the North Heads National Park at the mouth of Sydney harbour, to the Barrenjoey Lighthouse some 38 kilometres to the north. To the west are the protected rainforest bushlands of Ku-Ring-Gai Chase, and along the coast are the iconic surf beaches, whose names are known far beyond Sydney – Palm Beach, Whale Beach, Dee Why, Curl Curl and Manly.
It’s an area of outstanding natural beauty, but the Northern Beaches are more than just a pretty face. The region is home to over quarter of a million people, and 33,500 businesses, producing 2.76% of New South Wales’ Gross State Product (GSP). It’s not standing still either, with the population forecast to grow by a further 15% (42,000 people) over the next 20 years.
Knowledge-based industries dominate the area, with the professional, scientific and technical sector accounting for the biggest percentage of jobs.
So whether you’re after world-class surf beaches, glorious rainforests or a thriving local economy, there’s lots to like about Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

Fresh National is a networking group for busy Northern Beaches business owners, professionals and entrepreneurs who want to connect with like-minded people. We hold our meetings online, meaning you don’t have to spend your valuable time travelling, and can focus instead of connecting.

We also save you time by meeting fortnightly – because we know that weekly meetings are simply too big a commitment for many to make. That leaves you free to spend more time on that other important networking activity – one to one meetings (or as we call them in Fresh, ‘Get Fresh’ catch ups).
Because we’re the experts in online networking, we know that it’s essential to keep things vibrant and Fresh (the clue’s in our name!). We don’t stick to the same agenda every week – we have several, and we rotate them for variety and interest. Every agenda gives you the chance to make new connections, strengthen relationships, learn new skills and discuss important issues. Not to mention having a lot of fun in the process.

Fresh has hubs up and down the Eastern Seaboard, and you can visit as many of them as you want, as often as you want – helping you to grow your connections way beyond the Northern Beaches.
But we value local too, and we actively encourage members of Fresh National Sydney Northern Beaches to meet face to face too if and when they want to as well.

How does this online hub work?
When you join Fresh National Sydney Northern Beaches, you’ll be the only member in your business category.
Sydney Northern Beaches is an area hub, affiliated with the state hub for New South Wales. If an area hub has fewer than 10 members, it will take part in a combined meeting with the state hub. You may find that in the state hub meeting, you’re not the only bookkeeper/graphic designer/mortgage broker in the room.
The faster the Sydney Northern Beaches area hub grows, the faster you reach independent meetings and exclusive claim to your category.
Our Next Meeting
At every meeting, a member gives a presentation about their business, or a topic on which they are an expert.
This helps us to build the ‘know, like and trust’ that is at the heart of Fresh. By getting to know a member that bit better, we get closer to understanding their ideal referral and whether we can introduce them to any of our contacts.
